WHAT WE DO
Love isn't merely expressed in words. It is demonstrated through actions that reflect kindness, compassion, and selflessness. One Hope's mission embodies the Bible's teachings about love being actively shown in tangible acts of service, which leaves a lasting impact on refugees leading them to a life-changing encounter with Jesus.
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
HOW WE DO IT
Block Parties for Kids
Refugees are often resettled in apartment communities while seeking asylum. We show up with volunteers, food, and fun and games such as face-painting, relay games, competitions, and crafts. It brings people together, gives immigrant families a break from the daily stress they face, and allows us to build relationships and demonstrate Christ.
Events to Honor Women
Whether its a craft event, a tea party, or simply getting together for tea and conversations, this is a beautiful opportunity to show women (many who have traditionally been marginalized or treated like property) that they are truly seen and loved by their Creator.
Bible Studies
Whether they are seekers, new believers, or come from a Christian background, many are hungry to know more about the Bible. We create a safe environment where refugees can ask questions and seek truth from the Word.
Language Learning
Providing English as a second language (or making other languages available) at no cost is a great way to build relationships while providing a much-needed skill necessary for asylum seekers who hope to integrate into a new country.
Meeting Physical Needs
Most refugees arrive with little more than the clothes on their back. Meeting tangible needs through hot meals, clothing, toiletries, school supplies and a myriad of other possibilities is a tangible way to show refugees that they are seen and loved by God.

Our priority is bringing the Good News to the least-reached Muslim peoples—refugees that have no viable, sustainable Gospel witness in their midst.
By identifying refugees and prioritizing the least-reached peoples and places in the Mediterranian, we’re helping complete the Great Commission.
Where we work
Why the Eastern Mediterranean?
From our base of operations in Cyprus, we are able to reach much of the Eastern Mediterranean in hours. Nearly 40% of the world’s refugees are on the eastern and southern Mediterranean rim.
Displaced Syrians are the largest subset of nearly 6.8 million registered with UNHCR or approximately one-third of the world’s refugees. Cyprus is in the middle of the largest movement of refugees in the world.
